This is a fairly typical question for candidates applying to customer facing roles and one you will need to answer well in order to show your abilities in turning negative situations around and keeping your customers happy. You had a perfect answer lined up, then you remember that that confrontation didn’t end well, and you have suddenly got cramps in your lower belly. You are interviewing for a position which might require you to deal with customers or deal with them once in a while, so naturally, this question, “describe a time when you’ve dealt with a difficult customer/client” comes up.
